A front panel for a plasma display panel comprising at leastnone transparent resin plate and a conductive mesh placed on thentransparent resin plate, in which a part of the conductive meshnis exposed on the plate in a sheet form on at least one side ofnthe marginal surface of the front panel, is provided. The frontnpanel may have uneven patterns on at least one side of surfacesnof the front panel, and may further comprise an intermediatensynthetic resin plate between the conductive mesh and thentransparent resin plate, and also may comprise a decorativenportion between the intermediate synthetic resin plate and thentransparent resin plate. In addition, the front panel mayncomprise a conductive film, which is in contact with the conductivenmesh in a sheet form on at least one side of the marginal surfacenof the front panel. Such a front panel for a plasma display panelncan stably exhibit high electromagnetic wave-shielding properties,nand the visibility of the screen of the plasma display panel isngood. |
