A silyl (meth)acrylate copolymer which comprises (a) silyl (meth)acrylatenconstituent units of formula (I), or (III)n n -CH 2 -CR(COOSiR 11 R 12 R 13 ) nwherein R 1 to R 4 and R to R 13 are as defined herein, (b) acrylic unsaturated monomernconstituent units of formula (II) or silyl (meth)acrylate constituent units of formulan(IV)n n -CH 2 -CR(COOSiR 14 R 15 R 16 ) nwherein R, R 5 , Z and R 14 to R 16 are as defined herein and (c) unsaturated monomernconstituent units other than the constituent units (a) and (b), providing that when (a)nis a component of formula (I), (b) is a compound of formula (II); when (a) is ancompound of formula (III), (b) is a compound of formula (IV); and the total amountnof the constituent units (a), (b) and (c) is 100 % by weight; n and which has a weight-average molecular weight, as measured by GPC, ofnnot more than 200,000. |
