A refrigerant circulation circuit circulates anrefrigerant discharged from a compressor (1) through ancondenser (3) to an evaporator (5). A current sensor (15)ndetects an operating current for the compressor (1). Anmicrocomputer (7) judges an operating condition of thencompressor (1) based on a result detected by the currentnsensor (15). Driving means (17b, 19a, 19b, 20) receive anninstruction from the microcomputer (7) to drive thencompressor (1). A high-pressure switch (8) is connected innseries to the electric circuit of the driving means and isnoperable based on a discharge pressure of the compressorn(1). The microcomputer (7) judges absence or presence ofnoperation of the high-pressure switch (8) based on thenresult detected by the current sensor (15). |
