Plasma screen equipped with a phosphor layer, which contains a blue, Eu 2+ activated phosphor and a UV-C light emitting phosphor. By admixing a UV-C light-emitting phosphor to an Eu 2+ -activated phosphor or coating an Eu 2+ -activated phosphor with a UV-C-light-emitting phosphor or covering a base layer made of an Eu 2+ -activated phosphor with a Cover layer made of a UV-C light-emitting phosphor significantly reduces the photodegradation of the Eu 2+ -activated phosphors in the VUV range. |
