Disclosed herein is an oil composition containingna diglyceride, in which at least 55% by weight of thenconstitutive acyl groups are unsaturated acyl groups,nand 15 to 100% by weight thereof are ω3 type unsaturatednacyl groups having at least 20 carbon atoms, in annamount of not less than 10% by weight, but less than 40%nby weight, and a triglyceride, in which at least 70% bynweight of the constitutive acyl groups are unsaturatednacyl groups, and 5 to 80% by weight thereof are anlinoleyl group, in an amount of 40.1 to 89.8% by weight.nThe composition effectively develops the physiologicalnfunctions derived from ω3 type unsaturated fatty acids,nsuch as antiarteriosclerotic effect, and is excellent innoxidation stability, flavor and the like. Foods andnmedicines containing such an oil composition arenprovided. The medicines have an antiarterioscleroticneffect. |
