Water/oil (W/O) emulsions (I) comprise: (1) an aqueous phase; (2) a lipid phase ; (3) an alkylmethicone- or alkyldimethicone-copolyol surfactant; and (4) optionally a cationic, nonionic and/or anionic polymer(s). Water/oil (W/O) emulsions (I) comprise: (1) an aqueous phase content of ≥ 80 weight % (wt.%) based on total wt.; (2) a lipid phase containing a lipid of viscosity below 15 mPa.s at 25 degrees C and of spreading value ≥ 700 mm<2>/10 minutes, both at 25 degrees C; (3) an alkylmethicone- or alkyldimethicone-copolyol surfactant; and (4) optionally a cationic, nonionic and/or anionic polymer(s) at 0.01-10 (especially 0.25-1) wt.% concentration. |
