Angiostatic steroids for use in controlling neovascularization andnocular hypertension are disclosed. Pharmaceutical compositions of thenangiostatic steroids and methods for their use in treating neovascularizationnand ocular hypertension, including controlling the ocular hypertensionnassociated with primary open angle glaucoma, are disclosed. In addition, thencombination of the compounds with glucocorticoids for the prevention ofnelevated intraocular pressure during the treatment of inflammation isndisclosed. |
