A method for preparing bromofluorenes includes a stepnof dispersing a compound selected from the group consistingnof fluorene, fluorenone, and derivatives of fluorene andnfluorenone in water to prepare a disperse system.nBromination is initiated by adding bromine Br 2 into thendisperse system. Thus, bromofluorenes can be efficientlynand economically prepared without using any environmentallynharmful organic solvent requiring a high cost to dispose of. |
