titleOfInvention An electret condenser microphone
abstract The present invention relates to an electret condenser microphone including the vibratory diaphragm which is comprised of an electret film into which an electric charge is charged; a conductive film formed on one side of the electret film by sputtering of chemical vapor deposition (CVD); and a polar ring disposed at a peripheral edge of the underside of the conductive film such that the conductive film formed on the electret film is located apart from the inner surface of the case at a given distance (Δt). Also, this microphone includes a vibratory diaphragm support member which is disposed on the vibratory diaphragm and has a concave groove and a concave portion. The concave portion has a plurality of sound holes which are formed at a bottom surface thereof such that the vibratory diaphragm is vibrated easily. On the vibratory diaphragm support member is attached an integrated circuit serving to receive and amplify a transformed electrical signal from the vibratory diaphragm. Furthermore, the microphone includes an insulating cap on which a pair of contact pins are located. As a result, the electret condenser microphone of the present invention has a simple structure and hence can be miniaturized. In addition, it is manufactured through a reduced number of assembling processes whereby manufacturing yields can be increased and manufacturing costs can be reduced.
