Detects the presence of binding between a sample biopolymer and anprobe biopolymer and the amount of binding, without modifying the samplenbiopolymer in any way. The present invention provides a reagent fornbiopolymer detection comprising semiconductor nanoparticles on which anfunctional group having a positive or negative charge is exposed, and a methodnfor biopolymer detection which detects the presence of binding between ansample biopolymer and a probe biopolymer and the amount of binding bynelectrostatically binding a semiconductor nanoparticle on which a functionalngroup having a positive or negative charge is exposed to a negative or positivencharge of the sample biopolymer. |
