Dispersion containing flame-hydrolytically produced silicon-titanium mixed oxide powder with a BET surface area of 5 to 500 m 2 / g, a titanium dioxide content of 0.5 to 20% by weight, based on the powder, furthermore water and at least one such pH Value-regulating substance which can be completely removed from the reaction mixture when heated, the powder having a solids content of between 40 and 80% by weight, based on the dispersion. A green body made from it with a relative green density between 40 and 85%. A molded glass body of optical quality made from the green body with a thermal expansion coefficient of at most 0.5 · 10 -6 / K. |
