abstract | A novel process for efficiently and easily producing a compound represented by the formula (IV) (wherein ring A represents a benzene ring optionally having a substituent besides W; R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted heterocyclic group, etc.; and ring B represents an optionally substituted benzene ring) or a salt thereof, which comprises reacting either a compound represented by the formula (I) (wherein Y represents halogeno; and ring A represents a benzene ring optionally having a substituent besides Y) or a salt thereof with either a compound represented by the formula WH [wherein W represents (II) or (III) (wherein ring C represents an optionally substituted benzene ring; ring D represents an optionally substituted 5- to 7-membered nitrogenous heterocycle; R3 represents hydrogen, an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having an aromatic group, or acyl; and R4 represents hydrogen, an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, acyl, etc.)] or a salt thereof and optionally subjecting the reaction product to a reaction for eliminating the protective group. The process is suitable for industrial production. |
