A modified olefin-based copolymer produced byngraft-polymerizing an alkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon and/or annunsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof to annolefin-based copolymer containing repeating units derived fromna linear α-olefin and/or ethylene copolymer of ethylene andnrepeating units derived from a vinyl compound (I) or (II)ndescribed below, and an adhesive containing the product as anneffective ingredient, in which an adhesiveness to an adherendnsuch as olefin resins (e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene) isnfurther improved, are provided. n Vinyl compound (I): a vinyl compound represented by thengeneral formula CH 2 =CH-R, wherein steric parameters Es and B1nof the substituent R are respectively -1.64 or less and 1.53nor more. n Vinyl compound (II): a vinyl compound represented by thengeneral formula CH 2 =CH-R', wherein a substituent R' is ansecondary or tertiary alkyl group. |
