abstract A fluid dispenser (24) generally includes a housing (52) and a valving rod (54)ndisposed in and movable within the housing (52), the valving rod (54) includingna central bore (82), at least one inlet (84) for receiving a cleaning fluid composednof a solvent and a gas, and one or more outlet ports (86) in fluidncommunication with the bore (82), wherein the outlet ports (86) are capable ofndirecting cleaning fluid radially outwards from the bore (82) and against anninterior surface (59) of the dispenser (24) to facilitate the removal of at least anportion of any fluid product or derivatives thereof that may be innadherence with such interior surface (59).
