The use of nalmefene and its analogs for treatment of conditions or diseases that are not mediated through opiate receptors is disclosed. Such condition and diseases include viral infections such as hepatitis B and C, organ damage, septic shock, various cancers and conditions associated with over production of superoxide, TNF-α and iNOS. |
