The invention relates to oleaginous dispersions of nanoparticulate UV protection agents comprising a silicon dioxide coating. Said dispersions are thixotropic and contain between 10 and 80 wt. %, preferably between 30 and 70 wt. %, of an ester of saturated and/or unsaturated, branched and/or unbranched alkane carboxylic acids having a chain length of between 3 and 30 C atoms, and saturated and/or unsaturated, branched and/or unbranched alkylene glycols having a chain length of between 2 and 30 C atoms, and between 0.5 and 20 wt. %, preferably between 2 and 15 wt. % of a dispersant, and between 10 and 80 wt. %, preferably between 25 and 60 wt. % of a nanoparticulate UV protection agent with a silicon dioxide coating. The invention also relates to the production and use of said dispersions, to novel compositions for topical application, that are especially used for the light protection of the skin and/or the hair from UV radiation, and to the use thereof for the cited cosmetic application. |
