abstract The invention relates to a station for the stretching/blowing of preforms having an upward-facing open end. The inventive station (100) comprises a bracket (4000) that supports a blow mould, a stretch rod (2700) and means for controlling the movements of the stretch rod (2700). The aforementioned control means comprise: (i) an actuator, and (ii) a roller (4700) and a speed control cam (200), said roller (4700) coming into contact with the speed control cam (200) as the stretch rod (2700) enters the blow mould, thereby controlling the speed with which the stretch rod (2700) enters the blow mould. The invention is characterised in that the speed control cam (200) is disposed below the base (800) of the blow mould.
