The present invention relates to acne lesions biomarkers/ genes expression products pattern and particularly inflammatory acne lesions biomarkers and their uses, modulators thereof and the use of modulators for acne treatment or associated disorders. Invention also concerns in vitro diagnostic methods. Gene array expression profiling reveiled a prominent role of matrix metalloproteinases, inflammatory cytokines anti-microbial peptides in acne lesions. |
