abstract The method is used to reconnect customizable pass pages (1, 2 '), which were each separated from a defective double-use (6). The pass pages (1, 2 ') to be connected to each other are placed in a receiving device (11) and in this at cut surfaces (3) accurately fitted to each other and fixed in the receiving device (11). Subsequently, the two fitting sides (1, 2 ') are butt welded to each other at the abutting cut surfaces (3). Preferably, the fitting sides (1, 2 ') to be joined together are clamped between an anvil (4) and a welding device (5), the two cutting surfaces (3) extending between the anvil (4) and the welding tool (5).
