The present invention relates to a new hard coating process, allowing the creation of a hard and crisp coating on the surface of a product in less than two hours, and comprising a plurality of cycles each comprising the following steps: a step of applying a coating syrup containing at least one polyol, said polyol being obtained by hydrogenation of disaccharides, and said coating syrup having a solids content of between 60 and 90% by weight, preferably between 70 and 70% by weight; % and 85% by weight; a drying step comprising the use of an air at a temperature of between 40 ° C. and 70 ° C. for a duration of at least 1 minute and at most 5 minutes; the number of cycles being such that a magnification rate of greater than 25% is obtained, preferably greater than 30%, and more preferably greater than 32%.n n n A variant of the process according to the invention consists in adding, after application of the syrup, a quantity of polyol powder of very high purity.n n n The invention also relates to the coated products obtained using the process. |
