The invention relates to a coextruded, sealable and peelable biaxially oriented polyester film having a base layer (B) and at least one heat-sealable and peelable top layer (A) applied to this base layer (B). The cover layer (A) contains a low-sealing, peelable polymer, while in the base layer (B) in addition to polyethylene terephthalate and polyethylene isophthalate is contained in a certain amount. In addition, the film also comprises an anti-fog coating applied to the cover layer (A). The invention further relates to a process for the production of the film and its use as a cover film in the packaging of food in cups made of PS and PP. |
