abstract The present invention relates to an impregnation plant (10) for manufacturing a liner assembly (12a) comprising a first foil (48) and a liner (12) for being impregnated with a resin. The resin is curable by irradiation of light having wavelengths in the range between 200 nm and 475 nm. The liner is fibrous and flexible and defines a first surface and an opposite second surface. The first foil is flexible and has a coating of fleece material (56) on at least one side. The impregnation plant (10) comprises an impregnation station comprising a resin bath (28,28') for accommodating the liner, a resin reservoir, a nozzle (32,32'), a pipe system (38,38') and a resin pump (36,36') for propelling the resin from the resin reservoir in a direction towards the liner. The impregnation plant further comprises a wrapping station (46) for covering the liner with the first foil by juxtaposing and contacting the first surface of the liner (12) with the coating of fleece material (56) of the first foil (48).
