Provided are a washing method and washing machine with flow rate calculation of the wash water, in an initial water supplying step of the wash cycle, a controller measures the time it takes from a pre-valve is opened for the wash water to fill and reach a target water level in the tub (S210). For the supplying of bleach in a washing step of the wash cycle, the controller measures the time it takes from a bleach valve is opened for wash water to fill and reach a target water level (S220). The controller calculates the flow rate of the wash water supplied through a second water supply valve (S230) and calculates then the open time of the second water supply valve during a rinsing step of the wash cycle (S240). |
