A workpiece carrier for transporting and/or storing components of a drug delivery device, comprising: n- an array (12) of accommodating recesses (14) extending in a first lateral plane (x, y) n - wherein the recesses (14) extend in vertical direction with respect to the lateral plane (x, y) to arrange the component of the drug delivery device in an upright way in the recesses (14), n- at least one stack forming structure (16) adapted to mate with a corresponding stack forming structure (16) of another workpiece carrier for mutually aligning workpiece carriers when stacked on one another, n- wherein the center of the at least one stack forming structure (16) is arranged laterally offset n - wherein the stack forming structure (16) comprises a surrounding edge (16) comprising at least in sections a corrugated or undulated structure (18, 19). |
