| abstract |
A system for depositing a fluid on a substrate is disclosed. The system includes a sleeve (100) having a sleeve exit (120) and an inner region (130) and a rotating roll (10) disposed within the inner region (130). A vascular network (18) can be disposed within the rotating roll (10), the vascular network being configured for transporting the fluid in predetermined paths from an interior region (16) to an exterior surface (14) of the rotating roll (10) through a substantially radial path, the substantially radial path ending at an exit point of a fluid exit (30), wherein the exit point is associated with a sleeve exit (120). |
