abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing a dental prosthesis, the dental prosthesis having a prosthesis base (8) and a plurality of prosthetic teeth (2). The method is carried out using a virtual three-dimensional dental prosthesis model of the physical dental prosthesis to be produced, and the virtual three-dimensional dental prosthesis model is divided into at least one virtual three-dimensional model of the prosthetic teeth (2) and a virtual three-dimensional model of the prosthesis base (8) or comprises at least one virtual three-dimensional model of the prosthetic teeth (2) and a virtual three-dimensional model of the prosthesis base (8). The boundary face between the virtual model of the prosthetic teeth (2) and the virtual model of the prosthesis base (8) is calculated such that the prosthetic teeth (2) in the virtual model have mutually parallel roots (7) and the prosthesis base (8) in the virtual model has parallel tooth sockets (9), the tooth sockets (9) forming a negative shape of the roots (7) of the prosthetic teeth (2). The method has the following steps: A) multiple prefabricated prosthetic teeth (2) for producing the dental prosthesis are fixed in a holding means (5); B) the prosthesis base (8) is produced in accordance with the virtual model of the prosthesis base (8) using a CAM method, wherein tooth sockets (9) which lie parallel to one another are created in the prosthesis base (8); C) the prosthetic teeth (2) are machined basally and, adjacent thereto, cervically in the holding means (5) in accordance with the virtual model of the prosthetic teeth (2) using a CAM method so that the created roots (7) of the prosthetic teeth (2) lie parallel to one another when the prosthetic teeth (2) are inserted into the prosthesis base (8); D) the machined prosthetic teeth (2) are inserted into the tooth sockets (9) of the prosthesis base (8) together or in groups and fastened in said sockets. The invention also relates to a dental prosthesis produced by such a method, and to a device for implementing such a method. |
