abstract |
The invention relates to an aerosol generating device comprising a housing comprising a chamber. An induction coil is disposed around at least a portion of the chamber. The device includes a heating compartment for receiving an aerosol generation article. The heating compartment can be inserted removably into the chamber of the housing. The heating compartment includes a cavity adapted to receive at least a portion of the aerosol generation article. The device further includes a heating element that can be disposed within the cavity of the heating compartment. The heating element extends into the cavity in a longitudinal direction of the cavity. The heating element is designed to penetrate an aerosol forming substrate included in the aerosol generation article and received in the cavity. |
