The invention provides a method for producing a sheet-molding compound, comprising the steps of: a) preparing an epoxy resin composition containing an epoxy resin, dicyandiamide, and 2,4-diamino-6-[2'-methylimidazolyl-(1')]-ethyl-s-triazine having an average particle size of 15 µm or less; b) impregnating a reinforcing fiber with the epoxy resin composition prepared in the step a); and c) thickening the epoxy resin composition having been impregnated into the reinforcing fiber in the step b). |
