The invention relates to the use of glass fibers which have a tensile strength according to DIN ISO 527-5 of between 86.0 and 92.0 GPa, a modulus of elasticity E according to DIN ISO 527-5 of between 2600 and 3200 MPa and a softening point according to DIN ISO 7884-1 of between 900 and 950°C, for increasing the weld line strength of molded bodies from thermoplastic polyamide-containing molding compositions. |
