titleOfInvention Electrically conductive fixation and method for fixating a printed circuit board in a medical device
abstract A medical device comprising a housing made from a polymeric material and a printed circuit board (PCB) fixated to the housing by means of a mechanical connection. The medical device further comprises a sensor located in or forming part of the housing and an electrical contact located between the housing and the printed circuit board and formed between the sensor and the printed circuit board. The electrical contact comprises an electrically conductive elastomeric material wherein the elastomeric material is compressed between the housing and the printed circuit board connecting the PCB to the sensor, preferably, the electrical contact is being established simultaneous with the mechanical connection.
