titleOfInvention Measurement cuvette and radiation sensor, which can be detachably connected only in a predefined relative orientation
abstract The present invention relates to a measurement cuvette (10) for detecting at least one fluid constituent of a fluid flowing through the measurement cuvette (10) by means of electromagnetic radiation, the measurement cuvette (10) comprising: a channel (20), which extends through the measurement cuvette (10) along a channel path (C), the channel path (C) being imagined as extending centrally through the channel (20); a coupling and detection portion (22), which extends, between its first longitudinal end (22a) and its second longitudinal end (22b), along a linear longitudinal axis (L) and which is designed to be detachably mechanically coupled to a radiation component (60), the measurement cuvette (10) having a physical orientation structure (40), which allows detachable mechanical coupling of the measurement cuvette (10) to the radiation component (60) in a predefined desired relative orientation and prevents said detachable mechanical coupling in an undesired relative orientation. According to the invention, the physical orientation structure (40) is arranged and formed between the first and the second longitudinal ends (22a, 22b) of the coupling and detection portion (22) with a distance (b) from the longitudinal axis (L) that changes along the longitudinal axis (L) and/or with a dimension (a) orthogonal to the longitudinal axis (L) that changes along the longitudinal axis (L).
