abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for preparing polyester carbonates by a melt transesterification process starting from polycarbonates or polycarbonate oligomers. The process especially relates to the preparation of polyester carbonates in a reactive extrusion process. The process is characterized in that the polyester carbonates prepared have a balanced property profile in terms of their molecular weight, glass transition temperature and residual amounts of phenolic OH. The invention further relates to the use of the polyester carbonates prepared according to the invention. |
