Silicon oxide catalyst with titanium content. A titanium-containing silicon oxide catalyst that satisfies all of the following conditions (1) to (4): (1) Average pore size of 10 {angstron} or more, (2) Average pore size of 90 % or more of the total pore volume of 5 to 200 {angstron}, (3) Specific pore volume of 0.2 cm{sup,3}/g or more, and (4) Use of a quaternary ammonium ion represented by the following general formula (I) as a template, said template being then removed through a solvent extraction operation; [NR{sup,1} R{sup,2} R{sup,3} R{sup,4}]{sup,+} (I) where, R{sup,1} represents a linear or branched hydrocarbon chain having 2 to 36 carbon atoms and R{sup,2} to R{sup,4} represent an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a method for producing said catalyst and a method for producing carbon oxide propylene by reaction of propylene with a hydroperoxide, except ethylbenzene hydroperoxide, in the presence of said catalyst. |
