abstract | Electrical safety cables that incorporate a luminescent pigment for transmission of electricity or data that are characterized in that they comprise a cover and / or insulation that has a fluorescent pigment which, when irradiated with ultraviolet light in the 400-500 nm range, emits a visible light by fluorescent effect. The pigment is a colorless fluorescent optical brightener selected from the group consisting of bis-benzoxazoles, bis- (sterile) biphenyls and phenylcoumarins. This light emission can be used to identify a particular type of cable, for example a zero-halogen safety cable, which can be difficult to identify a priori because it is located in a hidden place or as part of a cluster, etc. |
