USEFUL LIFE INDICATORS. |
abstract |
An indicator (10) of useful life comprising: a container having an internal cavity (12); a volatile fluid indicator material (18) located inside the cavity (12); and a semipermeable membrane (14) that closes the surface of the cavity, characterized in that the cavity (12) has a shallow part that is less than 3 mm deep and a deep part to cause a remaining part of the volatile indicator material to be agglomerate together by capillary action, towards the shallow part when the volatile indicator material in the cavity is volatilized from the container, such that a part of the cavity that prior to said volatilization visibly contained the volatile indicator material appears essentially without volatile indicator material. |
