titleOfInvention PASSIVE SYSTEM TO HEAT SEA WATER USING SOLAR ENERGY.
abstract Passive system for heating seawater using solar energy. # The object of the present invention is to provide a passive system for heating seawater using solar energy, of the solar heater type, comprising: # - a collector (1) formed by a sheet of black low density polyethylene, coated on its periphery with an insulating material (2), in particular cork, which insulates the collector. # - a feed pipe (4) of the collector (1) with seawater to be heated. # - an evacuation pipe (5) of the collector (1) with hot sea water. # - and a closed envelope (3) that creates a greenhouse effect, namely an outer envelope (3) of a Transparent material to solar radiation, in particular a plastic material, which defines in its internal part the assembly formed by the collector (1) and the supply pipes (4) and evacuation (5). # Characterized because a thin layer is placed of oil (6) non-polluting, on the seawater that entered a in the collector (1) to prevent heat produced by solar energy from escaping in the form of water vapor, to prevent heat produced by solar energy from escaping in the form of water vapor.
