| abstract | Garden water hose assembly (10), comprising: an outer tube (12) formed from a non-elastic and flexible and non-metallic material; an inner tube (14) constructed from an elastic material, each of said outer tube (12) and said inner tube (14) having a first end joined together by means of a first coupler (18), and a second end joined together by a second coupler (16); said outer tube (12) being disconnected from said inner tube (14) between said first and second couplers; said outer tube (12) and said inner tube (14) having a first length substantially shortened in a contracted state of non-water flow with said outer tube (12) extending around an outer surface of said inner tube (14) in a wavy state, and a second length, substantially longer with said outer tube (12), capturing said inner tube (14) in an expanded state under the application of water pressure inside the elastic inner tube (14), when the water flows through the assembly (10), said inner tube (14) having a greater wall thickness in the contracted state than in the expanded state and, decreasing the wall thickness as the hose (10) moves from the contracted state to the expanded state, and in which a water flow limiter (37) is provided in, connected to, the second coupler (16). |
