A copolymer, which is a fluorine-containing copolymer comprising (a) repeating units derived from a fluorine-containing monomer of the formula: CH2> = C (-X) -C (> = O) -Y - [- ( CH2) mZ-] p- (CH2) n-Rf (I) where X is H, methyl, linear or branched C1-21 alkyl, F, Cl, Br, I, CFX1X2 (where X1 and X2 are H, F, Cl, Br or I), cyano, linear or branched C1-20 fluoroalkyl, or an optionally substituted benzyl or phenyl group; Y is -O- or -NH-; Z is a bond, -S- or -SO2-; Rf is C1-6 fluoroalkyl; m is 1-10, n is 0-10, and p is 0 or 1; (b) repeating units derived from at least one amino monomer of any of formulas (II-1) to (II-3): ** Formula ** where B is linear or branched C1-4 alkylene, R21 is H or C1-4 alkyl, each of R22-R24 are independently H, linear or branched C1-18 alkyl, hydroxyethyl or benzyl, or R22 and R23 together form a divalent C2-30 organic group, and X- is an anionic group; and (c) repeating units derived from a pyrrolidone monomer of the general formula: ** Formula ** where each of R31-R34 are independently H or C1-4 alkyl. |
