A composition containing (a) a plurality of intact mini-cells of bacterial origin, where each mini-cell of said plurality contains regulatory RNA that is packed in said mini-cell and (b) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier for them, where there is an absence in said mini-cells of a construct for the in situ expression of said regulatory RNA, wherein said regulatory RNA is chosen from the group consisting of siRNA, mRNA and hRNA and where said plurality contains a therapeutically effective amount of said regulatory RNA. |
