A sodium bicarbonate product comprising particles containing sodium bicarbonate and an organic material that is solid at room temperature, the particles of said product have a structure composed of individual sodium bicarbonate crystals bonded together in the particle where more 95% by volume of the particles have a size of less than 200 μm and where there are particles of the product that are hollow and are formed of an outer shell of said crystallites, preferably where the hollow particles are generally spheroidal and cover is composed of crystallites with general shape similar to sticks. |
