| abstract | Metal rolling apparatus, said apparatus comprising: at least one rolling box having a pair of rollers between which a sheet of metal is laminated to reduce its thickness, in which the pair of rollers includes an upper roller and a roller lower; a cooling fluid pump (10) adapted to pump cooling fluid to one or more cooling nozzles through a ducting system; a lubricant pump (20) adapted to pump a juice lubricant into the pipeline system, a set of bite lubrication nozzles adapted to discharge a lubrication fluid on an inlet side of each upper and lower roller of the pair of rollers, the set of bite lubrication nozzles comprising one or more bite lubrication nozzles (25) oriented towards a roller bite zone of the roller pair and the metal sheet; a set of cooling nozzles adapted to discharge the cooling fluid onto an upper roller roller surface above the bite spray and discharge the cooling fluid onto a lower roller roller surface below the bite spray. the cooling nozzle assembly comprising one or more cooling nozzles (24); characterized in that the channeling system is configured so that the juice lubricant is mixed with the cooling fluid to form the lubrication fluid before discharge through one or more bite lubrication nozzles while the cooling fluid flows to the cooling nozzles so that the discharged lubrication fluid is a lubrication fluid produced by mixing the cooling fluid with the juice lubricant. |
