abstract Suction nozzle (1) for cleaning apparatus, such as vacuum cleaners, for removing hair from a textile surface, comprising: - a housing (2), the housing comprising a tube sleeve (3) for connecting a tube of an apparatus cleaning with the suction nozzle; - a base section (4) having an outer edge (4A), a first face (4B) attached to the housing (2), and a second face (4C) comprising a plurality of projections (5) and one or more inlets (6) for air flow; wherein the plurality of projections (5) can be elastically bent, the plurality of projections (5) being mounted on the second face (4C) in such a way that when they come into contact with the textile surface to be cleaned during a sweeping movement, they bend away from their initial position, away from the sweeping direction and, when said projections (5) are no longer in contact with said textile surface, said projections (5) bounce back to their initial position; in which the plurality of projections (5) are aligned in a plurality of parallel rows (7), and in which the plurality of parallel rows (7) are mounted on the second face (4C) of the base section (4 ) to define a passage (8) running from the outer edge (4A) towards the one or more inlets (6) for air flow, said passage (8) having a distal end (8A) facing the outer edge (4A). ) and a proximal end (8B) oriented towards the one or more inlets (6); in which at least the outer layer or coating of the plurality of projections (5) is composed of elastomer to accumulate said hair on the surface; wherein the width of the distal end (8A) of said passageway (8) is at least 1 cm, and wherein the width of the proximal end (8B) of said passageway (8) is narrower than the width of the end distally, to guide the hair accumulated on the surface towards the one or more entrances (6).
