Nonwoven comprising a cellulosic fiber comprising a hydrophobic agent, characterized in that the softness of the fiber measured by the sled test according to EN 1202 PPS is at least 1.3 times greater than the softness of an untreated fiber of the same type , the hydrophobic agent is an alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) according to formula (1) ** (See formula) ** where R1 and R2 are hydrocarbon groups with between 8 and 40 carbon atoms and that can be both saturated and unsaturated , straight or branched chain, and wherein the cellulosic fiber is cotton, a viscose fiber, a modal fiber or a Lyocell fiber. |
