abstract |
A writing instrument comprising: a friction body (7) which is adapted to rub a thermochromic handwriting or image formed on a paper surface by using thermochromic ink to thermally discolor the thermochromic handwriting or image by heat of friction resulting from rubbing; and a thermochromic ink (4) that is adapted to flow, characterized in that: a thermal conductivity of a friction portion of the friction body is ranging from 0.05 W/(m.K) to 10 W/(m.K), the writing instrument is provided with a hole formed at a rear end of a barrel (21) of the writing instrument or at an upper part of a cap (6) of the writing instrument; and an outward projection (71) formed on an outer surface of the friction body, and an inward projection (21c) formed on the inner surface of the hole and having an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the outward projection , are coupled together in such a way that removal of the friction body from the hole is prevented. |
