Bioblock, which is a basic building block for bioprinting, comprising a cell, a nucleus enclosing the cell, and a shell enclosing the nucleus; wherein the core and shell are independently made of a biocompatible biodegradable polymeric material; the bioblock has sufficient mechanical strength, so that three-dimensional deposition can be achieved; each shell is independently 2-50 µm thick; the bioblock has a hardness of 0.01-0.4 GPa and a modulus of elasticity of 0.01-100 MPa; wherein the biodegradable polymeric material for preparing the core is selected from the group consisting of collagen, fibrin, chitosan, alginate, hyaluronic acid, agarose, gelatin, starch, glucan, polyphosphazene, polyacrylic acid, polylactic acid, polyamino acid, degradable polyurethane, and combinations thereof; the biodegradable polymeric material for preparing the shell is selected from the group consisting of alginate, elastin, polyamino acid, oxidized alginate, chitosan, gelatin, and combinations thereof. |
