titleOfInvention | Acrylic fibres of acrylonitrile polymer - contg. dyeing pigment, ethylenic-ally unsatd. monomer(s) and silicon resin |
abstract | Acrylic fibres of an acrylonitrile polymer contg. >=70 wt. % acrylonitrile and any amt. of >=1 other monomer ethylenically unsatd. and co-polymerisable with the former, and contg. basic dyeing pigments in a sufficient number to guarantee a total dyeing action with the pigments, are prepd. by adding 0.1 - 3 wt. % silicon resin, of formula (where R is 1-3C alkylenic gp.; R2 and R3 are each 1-3C alkyl; and x and y are each integers such that the mol. wt. of the polymer is 5000-100000 and the ratio x:y is 4-200:1) to the fibres so that the silicon resin is linked to the basic dyeing pigments. |
