| abstract | This polar coil 1 comprises three coils 10, 11, 12 in a row arranged concentrically one inside the other. The coils have the same number of turns and are arranged such that their ends 13, 15 and 17 are adjacent and are on a front face of the coil, and their second ends, 14, 16, 18 are adjacent and arranged on the other front face of the coil. All the ends of the coils are oriented along one of the side walls of the coil 1. This coil is applicable to the construction of the poles of synchronous electrical machines with salient poles. |
