titleOfInvention | PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF BIFUNCTIONAL CATALYSTS CONTAINING AN ALUMINOSILICATE AND A NOBLE METAL FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF HYDROCARBONS |
abstract | Disclosed is a process for the preparation of a bifunctional catalyst for the conversion of hydrocarbons, comprising as an acid component a crystalline aluminosilicate of the Y zeolite type and a noble metal as the hydrogenation component. Zeolite is mixed with an aluminum silicate or alumina; after forming, the sodium ions are exchanged for ammonium ions; the strands formed are then calcined by heating slowly up to 150 degrees C, then very rapidly up to 570-700 degrees C; the strands are impregnated with a noble metal salt solution, then the strands are dried and subjected to a heat treatment between 500 and 600 degrees C. |
