abstract | A method of constructing a marine platform. The floats are spaced by cross members carrying vertical support columns. Each float carries at least one guide element. The installation of the prefabricated structural elements is done using a barge starting with the upper element of the platform or bridge. The last of the elements carrying the elements previously installed is each time raised to allow the next element to pass under and be placed on the support columns. Consoles temporarily fixed to the elements cooperate with the guide elements during the assembly handling of the elements. Application to the construction of marine structures. |
