abstract | Motor device for vehicles propelled in water comprising a gas generator 3 supplied with liquid oxidant and fuel originating respectively from tanks 1 and 2. Water is also injected which vaporizes. The gases produced activate a high speed turbine 7 for driving the pumps and in cascade a second turbine 8 which drives two propellers 10, 11. The oxidant is perchloryl fluoride and the fuel is kerosene. The invention applies in particular to torpedoes. |
